Julian Davis is a filmmaker and creative director based in Santa Monica. Julian's film Hunter was recently featured at the LA Shorts International Film Festival (OSCAR®-qualifying). His film Imitation is Suicide won over a dozen awards at highly-acclaimed film festivals, including The Los Angeles Independent Film Festival, Best Shorts Competition, New York Indie Film Festival, Los Angeles CineFest, and many more.

When Julian was seven years old, he wrote a letter to Steven Spielberg, his favorite filmmaker, saying he'd written a movie for him. Spielberg's reply?: "Keep your best ideas for yourself, You're getting started a lot younger than I did. Borrow your father's movie camera and maybe our paths will cross one day" To a young film aficionado, that was all the motivation needed to pursue a lifelong journey in storytelling. From stop-motion lego films to music videos to creating the first film program at New West High School to award-winning short films, Julian has been creating content ever since, looking forward to the day he and his hero might cross paths.

In addition to his own work, Julian has edited for Lee Krieger's Beyond and Riverdale, read scripts for Gotham Group, been a background extra, and stand-in for Last Night in Soho and done P.A work for Your Honor and Snowfall.
